The problem
The board arrived with a blown F105 fuse per the client. Testing revealed that Q48 was shorted.
The repair
- Replaced Q48 with a new TIP102
- Found and replaced a blown GI fuse
- Installed a new Molex .156 male connector at J120
- Replaced capacitors C2, C4, and C5
- Reflowed known weak solder joints
Testing
The completed board was tested on the WPC factory bench and passed.
